05.06.2021: Government Senior Secondary School Lingee South Sikkim observed World Environment Day 2021on 5th June 2021 by conducting various activities through digital method and off-line mode. The Members of Eco Club and NSS motivated all students and actively participated in the plantations, Cleanliness, awareness speech, video making , painting, quiz etc.
School Principal, NSS PO, Green Teacher and all the staff cooperated at their best to make the observation of World Environment Day successful .
Plantation and Cleanliness drive was conducted in the school premises following COVID-19 Protocol by maintaining social distance and wearing mask while all other activities were held in virtual mode.
A School level competition was also held in making video speech.

1. Arun Pradhan(class XII)-1st
2. Parbati Adhikari (class X) - 2nd
3. Phurchen Lepcha (Class IX) - 3rd
JUNIOR SECTION:
1. Sneha Thapa( Class VI) -1st
2. Benedict Rai (class VII)- 2nd
3. Pravakar Adhikari (class VIII)- 3rd
