PTA meeting held in Lingee SSS.

A Parent-Teacher Meeting was held today at Lingee SSS in the school library room for selected parents of Class IX due to rainy weather and lack of a large meeting hall. Important topics such as attendance, homework, discipline, student performance, shortage of textbooks, and parent-school communication were discussed. Principal Mr. Prahlad Sharma addressed the gathering and informed parents about the support learning platform under Honda ki Pathshala. Parents and teachers interacted positively to improve students’ performance. The meeting was attended by parents, SMC members, teachers, CRC, and Academic Support Facilitators, and ended with tea and lunch for all attendees.

On May 17, 2024, the school principal, Prahlad Sharma, and the teaching staff participated in a three-hour training session on the Dynamics of Team Management. The training was conducted by Sir Prakash Tiwari (SCI-GT), a versatile teacher and resource person.

The session aimed to instill the values of team dynamics and effective management among the teachers, highlighting their roles in implementing fruitful teamwork.

The interactive and engaging training was well-received, with all participants gaining valuable insights and thoroughly enjoying the experience.

District Collector (Namchi) SDM (Yangang) BDO (Yangang) AE and JE, South Sikkim visited Lingee Govt. Sr. Sec. School

District Collector Namchi #Shri_M_Bharani_Kumar along with the (SDM Yangyang) Smt Sujata Subba (BDO Yangyang), Shri Sushil Gurung, JE, AE gave a visited at Lingi Sr Sec School. Principal welcomed by offering khada to DC, SDM and BDO. DC had an interaction class with the students in presence of School Principal Prahlad Dawadi Sharma, and SMC President Shri Khemraj Koirala. DC inspected Biology class, IT class of XII, tested knowledge in Mathematics, Reading , understanding, comprehension in English of students of Class X and VIII and appreciated the learning achievement of the students.

 

Principal also placed some demands of urgent necessity such as repairs, fencing and Link road up-gradation of school. DC on the spot assured to provide 2 Computers, fencing, repairs of school building and maintenance of Link road and instructed the concerned officials for immediate action to materialize the requirements. 

He also assured to provide complete teachers for teaching. All the school staff presented lunch for the visitors.
